FIFA World Cup broke all records
The FIFA World Cup disclosed its income to the authorities of more than 200 member countries. This is a billion dollars more than the revenue earned in the four-year cycle related to the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
This extra income from business contracts
This additional income has come from commercial contracts with the host country of the FIFA World Cup. Qatar Energy is on board as the top-tier sponsor and third-tier sponsors include Qatari bank QNB and telecom company Ooredoo.
