BCCI Secretary Jay Shah said during the Board’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) that whether the Asia Cup 2023 will be held in Pakistan or not, a decision can be taken in the coming times. Jai Shah said, “The decision regarding India’s permission to go to Pakistan is in the hands of the government, but regarding the venue of the Asia Cup, we have decided that Team India will not go to Pakistan.”
This issue is going to get hotter between India and Pakistan. Because according to FTP, Pakistan is also to host the Champions Trophy in 2025. The Champions Trophy will be the first ICC event to be held in Pakistan since the return of international cricket following the 2009 terror attacks in Pakistan.
