Civil audit in semi-finals after defeating Musallahpur by 4-2

In the Anu Anand Patna District Senior Division Football League being played at Gandhi Maidan, Civil Audit made it to the semi-finals by defeating Musallahpur 4-2 in their last league match on the basis of Kundan Kumar’s brilliant hat-trick on Sunday. There will be knockout matches from Monday. Raj Milk topped Pool A with 18 points while Civil Audit finished second with 10 points to reach the last four. In Pool B, BRC topped the table with 18 points and GAC came second with 15 points. On Monday, the first semi-final will be played between Raj Milk and GAC from 2.30 pm. BRC and Civil Audit teams will clash in the second semi-final on December 3. The final match will be played on December 4.

Civil Audit and Musallahpur FC were face to face in the last league match of this ongoing league at Gandhi Maidan. As soon as the game started, Mussallahpur’s strikers started making quick moves to score goals and Akhilesh Kumar put Musslahpur ahead in the seventh minute. As soon as the goal was scored, the players of Musallahpur started losing consciousness in excitement. On the contrary, the players of Civil Audit maintained control over the ball and the game. In the 22nd minute of the match, Kundan Kumar made a comeback for Civil and scored an equalizing goal. After the 1-1 draw, experienced players of Civil Audit started placing the ball in the D area of ​​the opposition.

In the 37th and 50th minutes, Kundan scored the second and third goals, scoring a hat-trick, to put Civil Audit ahead 3-1. Despite being behind, the youth of Musallahpur did not lose their courage. Ravi Prakash scored the best goal of the match in the 54th minute from a distance of 22 yards to reduce Civil Audit’s lead. Civil Audit was now ahead 3-2. But in the 59th minute, Rahul Kumar made his team victorious by scoring the fourth and final goal for the civil audit.
