FIFA U-17 World Cup: Team India got a crushing defeat in the last match, made a unique record

India suffered a 0-5 defeat against Brazil in their final group match on Monday, ending their campaign at the FIFA Women’s U-17 Football World Cup without a win and without scoring a goal. Being the host, India got a chance to make its debut in this top age-group competition. Earlier in their Group A matches, they had to face defeat against America (0-8) and Morocco (0-3). The team finished last in the four-team group without any points, conceding 16 goals in three matches.

Brazil and America have qualified for the quarter-finals. The United States defeated Morocco 4-0 in the second match of Group A played at the same time in Margao. Both Brazil and the United States finished with seven points from two wins and one draw. The match between the two on October 14 was a 1-1 draw.

Allin (40th and 51st minute), who constantly troubled the Indian defense with his speed and dribbling ability, scored two goals for Brazil. Apart from him, substitute player Laura (86th and 90+3 minutes) also scored two goals. Earlier, Gabi Barchon had given the South American champion team a 1-0 lead in the 11th minute.
