Recently, a team of students from the University of Stuttgart in Germany broke the Guinness World Record for the fastest electric vehicle. His car reached a speed of 0 to 100 kilometers per hour i.e. about 62 miles per hour in just 1.461 seconds. The same group had won this title in the year 2012 as well.

On Friday, September 23, 2022, 20 students from the University of Stuttgart achieved this feat. All of them have made this electric racing car themselves. According to the university, the race was held at a racetrack owned by Bosch in Renningen in the district of Böblingen in Württemberg. Stuttgart’s GreenTeam made this record in 2012 in a time of 2.681 seconds.

This car is very small. It has seating for only one person. Its weight is about 316 pounds i.e. about 143 kg. But the car is quite powerful.
