Rinku’s childhood coach Zafar Amini told the New Indian Express, “Rinku always wanted to build a sports hostel for young players. So that the players whose economic condition is not good, they can also fulfill their dreams. Now the days of Rinku have gone again. Money has come to them. So he is working to fulfill the dreams of others.
There will be 14 rooms in the sports hostel and 4 players will be able to stay in each room. A shed and pavilion are also being built. A canteen will also operate here. Where players will get food at low cost. Rinku Singh’s name may have become big today. He is earning lakhs from IPL itself. But he has also seen very bad days. Rinku was offered the job of sweeping. But, he refused to do this work. His childhood was spent in a dilapidated house. Father used to do cylinder delivery work while brother used to drive auto rickshaw. Sometimes even two morsels were hard to come by.
Rinku Singh has scored 174 runs in IPL 2023 at a strike rate of 163 in 5 matches played so far. He has also collected Fifty.
