Ashes clash between Australia vs England

New Delhi. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced a 16-member squad for the first two Test matches of the Ashes series against Australia. The ECB has expressed confidence only in the team playing against Ireland. The first Test match of the series between England and Australia (ENG vs AUS) will be played at Edgbaston on 16 June. Ben Stokes is going to have a tough test in this series, who will be seen leading the team in the Ashes for the first time.
Young fast bowler Josh Tongue has also been retained in the Test squad announced for the Ashes series. Tongue has impressed in the debut test. Tong took 5 wickets against Ireland.
