New Delhi. The deadlock between the wrestlers demanding the arrest of Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh and the central government seems to be breaking. There have been allegations of sexual exploitation against Brij Bhushan. Sakshi Malik’s reaction has come on the proposal of talks given to the wrestlers by Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur. It may be known that for more than a month, wrestlers have opened a front against Brij Bhushan. Even an FIR has been registered against him, but the players are not ready for anything less than arrest.

Sakshi Malik, the bronze medalist woman of the Olympic Games, told news agency ANI that we will discuss the proposal given by the government with our seniors and supporters. There will be consent from everyone, only then we will talk. No time has yet been set for the meeting. Significantly, after Olympic medalists Sakshi Malik, Bajrang Punia and Vinesh Phogat, the main faces of the protest against Brij Bhushan Sharan, returned to work, there was speculation that the wrestlers had weakened the movement, but Sakshi Malik Insisted that such reports are false and are being run to weaken the protest of the wrestlers.

the war will go on
Sakshi Malik had said that the war will continue till justice is done. Sakshi Malik tweeted, ‘Those who tell our medals to be worth 15-15 rupees are now after our jobs. Our life is at stake, a job is a very small thing in front of that. If the job is seen to be an obstacle in the way of justice, then we will not spend even 10 seconds to give it up. Don’t show fear of job. Similar tweets were also made by Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia.

Let me tell you, for the last several months, there was a protest by the wrestlers at Jantar Mantar regarding the arrest of WFI President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. On 28 May it was removed by the police using force.
