In a tweet, Union Minister of State for Electronics and IT, Rajeev Chandrasekhar said that there has been no cyber attack or breach in AIIMS. He wrote that e-hospital is an internal application. It is possible that someone has tried to access this portal and the alert has appeared due to the security layer used by AIIMS. The same person must have taken the screenshot of the error message and circulated it. In his tweet, the minister also informed that there has been no cyber incident or breach. The error messages have now been fixed.

This is not the first incident of cyber attack on AIIMS. In November last year, a major cyber attack affected the entire system of AIIMS. Its effect was seen on centralized records and other hospital services. The attackers had blocked access to user data. Due to the cyber attack, the work of AIIMS had to be done manually for several days. At that time it was feared that the cyber attack had started from China.
