Ishan kishan or KS Bharat For West Indies Tour: India has to tour West Indies in July. A series of 2 Tests will be played between the two countries on this tour. The first Test will be played in Dominica from 12 July. Team India has not been announced for this Test series yet. But, whenever it happens, the names of 2 players will definitely be included as wicketkeepers. One KS Bharat and the other Ishan Kishan. But, who will get a chance in playing-11, this is a big question. The Indian team management had given a chance to KS Bharat in the WTC Final. But, Ishaan Kishan can win in West Indies. Know how?

England has changed both the attitude and style of Test cricket with its baseball. The Ben Stokes-led team may have lost the first Ashes Test played at Edgbaston to Australia. Even after this, England’s style of playing Test hardly changed. Only Team India can take a lesson from England while selecting the team for the West Indies tour. How come they tell. (AP)

England gave Johnny Bairstow a chance for the Ashes series at the cost of a better wicketkeeper like Ben Foakes. Bairstow dropped many catches and made mistakes in the Edgbaston Test. But, when it comes to batting, the fans are nowhere close to him. Bairstow scored 78 runs in the first innings of the Edgbaston Test at a strike rate of 100. India can move forward with this thinking on West Indies tour. (AP)

In the form of Rishabh Pant, India had a solid wicketkeeper and a match winner with the bat. But after Pant’s injury, KS Bharat was given a chance in the Border Gavaskar Trophy and then in the WTC Final. But on spin-assisted Indian wickets, Bharat had trouble keeping wickets against R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja and failed to make a mark as a batsman as well. AP

Bharat did good wicketkeeping in the WTC Final. His DRS calls were also accurate. But, the batting only disappointed. He looked uncomfortable against short pitch balls. In such a situation, India has a chance on the West Indies tour to look beyond KS Bharat and try Ishaan Kishan. Now the question will be why Ishaan? (BCCI)

KS Bharat never looked comfortable as a batsman in his 5 test long career. Ishaan Kishan also has his own weakness. He has trouble against short pitched balls. But, there are no wickets like before in the West Indies. There is no extra bounce in the ball. In such a situation, Ishaan’s power hitting can be useful for India and he can be preferred over Bharat. AP

Ishaan Pant’s Like Four Like can be replacement. Like Pant, Ishaan is also a left-handed batsman and can hit big shots from the very first ball. In Test cricket, flamboyant innings of 50-60 runs by players like him can change the course of the match. In such a situation, Ishaan is better than Bharat and the Indian team management can try him on the West Indies tour. (PTI)
