Hasan Ali said – maybe I am not a part of the white ball planning of the team
Apart from bowling, I am also working hard on my batting and fielding.

New Delhi. World Cup 2023: The Cricket World Cup is to be held in India in the month of October-November this year. In the World Cup (ICC World Cup), the teams which are considered to be strong contenders for the title this time, apart from host India, Australia, England and Pakistan are prominent. Talking about Pakistan Team, the bowling of the team has become very strong in the last few times. The fast bowling trio of Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf is capable of destroying any top batting order in the world. Apart from this, there are also bowlers like Wasim Junior and Hasan Ali as their backup.

It is obvious that the competition for selection in the team is tough. This is the reason that Hasan Ali, who is included in the Test team announced for the Sri Lanka tour, is not even sure that he will be able to make a place in the Pakistan team for the World Cup.

Hasan said in a conversation with Geo News that he will have to perform more strongly to return to the white ball team. The 29-year-old young fast bowler feels that at this time he is not included in the future plans of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for white ball cricket.

Hasan, currently playing in the English county season, said, ‘I am playing in the T20 Blast tournament. Trying my best to be the best bowler of the team and make sure that my team wins. If the national selectors and Pakistan team management feel that they are happy with my performance then they can consider my name.

This right-arm fast bowler said, ‘It is everyone’s dream to be selected in the World Cup team and win the trophy for the country and I know how trophies are won. I have enough experience of playing in ICC tournaments. In July this year I will be 29 years old. In this context, I am young and fit too. Never failed the fitness test in his life. My full focus is on fitness. I am working hard not only on my bowling but also on improving my batting and fielding.

Playing for Warwickshire CCC in five matches of the County Championship, Hasan took 22 wickets, besides contributing with the bat, scoring two half-centuries.
