Sanjay Manjrekar’s suggestion is of great use
Team India agreed then future will be golden
New Delhi. Since the defeat in the final match of the ICC World Test Championship against Australia, Indian players are constantly being questioned. The next match of the blue team is with the West Indies. It is expected that the Indian team for the upcoming tour will be announced in the next week. Before the announcement of the Indian team, former cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar has shared his views.
The 57-year-old former cricketer said during a special conversation with ESPNcricinfo, ‘Steve Smith and Travis Head proved to be game changers for Australia in the final match, who do not play most T20 matches. That’s why we have to choose such players who are not going to get tired. Or they don’t have to adjust between IPL and Test. At present, it is time that we give a chance to the players who do well in first class cricket.

He further said, ‘The selectors should focus on those players who have the ability to become successful Test cricketers on foreign soil. I want to see three new batsmen and as many new bowlers in the team.
The former cricketer further said, ‘When it comes to batting, he should only keep an eye on the first class performance and not how many runs he has scored. If you look carefully at the players participating in domestic cricket, then you will find players batting at number three, four and five, whose defensive technique is very strong. We have to support these players only.
