New Delhi. The second match of the ongoing T20 series between Bangladesh vs Ireland is being played in Chittagong on 29 March. In this match, Bangladeshi opener batsman Litton Das has created history by batting fast. He has become the first batsman for his team to score the fastest fifty in T20 format. Before him, this special record was recorded in the name of former cricketer Mohammad Ashraful. Ashraful did this feat in 20 balls.

In the second T20 match, Bangladeshi opener batsman Liton Das appeared in great form. While opening the innings for his team, he played a half-century in just 18 balls. Das did not stop even after scoring his half-century. He faced a total of 41 balls in this match for his team. During this, 83 runs came out of his bat at an average of 202.43. Das has hit a total of 10 fours and three sixes in this fine innings.

Before Liton Das, the special record of scoring the fastest half-century in T20 format for Bangladesh was recorded in the name of former cricketer Mohammad Ashraful. Ashraful achieved this feat while batting explosively against the West Indies in the 2007 T20 World Cup. During this, he scored a half-century in just 20 balls.
