Aakash Chopra Advise to Rohit Sharma and says Hitting a Six Off Every Delivery is Impossible

Former India opener and cricket commentator Aakash Chopra has once again criticized Rohit Sharma’s ultra attacking approach and suggested him. Rohit Sharma now thinks of hitting from the very first ball, but Aakash Chopra believes that he should not do so. Chopra says that he should follow his old approach.

However, Rohit has not been in poor form with the bat. He has scored two half-centuries in his last 10 innings, including a 72 against Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup, while he scored 64 against West Indies during the bilateral T20I series earlier this year. At the same time, the way Rohit Sharma got out against Australia, questions are being raised on his approach.

The manner in which Rohit was dismissed in Mohali was worrying, as the 35-year-old seemed bent on attacking every ball. He had hit a six during the first T20I against Australia on Tuesday and wanted to score even further but got out close to the boundary line. Even when he hit a six, the ball hit the fielder’s hand.

Aakash Chopra said on his YouTube channel, “Looks like Rohit Sharma wants to hit a four or a six off every ball. The day he gives up this attitude and hits boundaries when he feels it, no one can stop him. He is a guns player, without a doubt one of the best batsmen in the world, but unfortunately hitting a six off every ball is impossible. He is not playing with a set mentality.
