For all BCCI coach posts, a candidate must be below 60 and have a BCCI Level 3 certificate. Current head coach Ravi Shastri will turn 60 in May 2022. Bowling coach Bharat Arun will turn 59 in December. Batting coach Rathod is 52 or 53 years old while fielding coach R Sridhar is 51 years old. However, except Shastri, other three candidates are eligible to apply for this post. But if the news is to be believed, except Rathod, no one else will send his application. Rathod can apply for Head Coach as well as Batting Coach.
