London. Jofra Archer’s injury streak is not taking its name to stop. Now he is out of the rest of the English cricket season due to a lower back strain. Jofra Archer has been away from competitive cricket since July 2021. He last participated in the T20 Ballast for Sussex. After about 9 months, he was expected to return in the upcoming T20 Blast. But he has been ruled out for the rest of the season due to a fresh injury. Archer is a part of Mumbai Indians in IPL. He stayed away from IPL this season due to injury. His injury has also dealt a big blow to the England cricket team. England have to play a Test series against New Zealand next month.
The England and Wales Cricket Board has confirmed Jofra Archer’s exit from the rest of the season. The ECB said, there is no time limit set for the return of the fast bowler. The board will take the opinion of an expert in this matter. According to the board, England and Sussex fast bowler Jofra Archer has been ruled out of the rest of the season after being diagnosed with a stress fracture in his lower back. No time frame has been fixed for their return.
