After the storm of Andre Russell, Rinku Singh once again set sail for KKR, Punjab lost by 5 wickets

New Delhi. In the match played at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens, Punjab Kings team was seen filling water in front of Andre Russell’s storm. Despite Andre Russell’s innings of 42 runs in 23 balls, the match seemed stuck in the end. Once again Rinku Singh crossed the boat for KKR. Despite the huge target, the Punjab team lost the match by five wickets.

Batting first, Punjab Kings scored 179 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs on the basis of Shikhar Dhawan’s half-century. While chasing the target, the Kolkata Knight Riders team won the match on the last ball.

Captain Shikhar Dhawan played a half-century for Punjab Kings. He scored 57 runs in 47 balls. Shikhar hit nine fours and a six in his innings. In just the second over, Prabsimran got out on a personal score of 12 runs. After this, the new batsman Bhanuka Rajapakse could not even open his account. Liam Livingston, who came for batting at number-4, got caught in Varun Chakraborty’s spin after scoring 15 runs off nine balls.

Shikhar Dhawan kept one end in between wickets falling continuously. Dhawan took the match to the end while scoring a strike rate of 121 and then hit big shots. In the end, Shah Rukh Khan scored 21 runs in eight balls. Harpreet Brar hit 21 runs in nine balls.
