New Delhi. Arjun Tendulkar of Mumbai Indians was seen batting for the first time during the IPL 2023 match against Gujarat Titans on Tuesday. Earlier this all-rounder’s fire was seen by the fans during bowling. Arjun has gone ahead of father Sachin Tendulkar on his batting debut in IPL. Mumbai Indians could not win this match but Arjun hit 13 runs in nine balls with the help of a six.

Arjun Tendulkar plays in Mumbai Indians as a bowling all-rounder. While making his Ranji Trophy debut, Arjun scored a century while playing for Goa. Since then everyone’s eyes were on him. After sitting on the bench for two years, Arjun was given a chance to debut by Mumbai Indians in this season’s IPL. Arjun was made to bowl at the beginning and end of the innings. As a batsman, he went ahead of his father in scoring runs in the debut IPL match. Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar played his debut IPL match in 2008 against Chennai Super Kings. Sachin scored 12 runs in this match. Arjun got out in this match by scoring one run more than his father i.e. 13 runs.
