New Delhi. The Ashes series is to start from 8 December. But due to Corona in Australia, strict restrictions have been imposed. Due to this, many big players of England have spoken of withdrawing from the series (England vs Australia). The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) can take a final decision regarding the series this week. Cricket returned in July last year after Corona. Since then the Australian team has not played a single Test outside the home. At the same time, England has played 6 Tests abroad. That is, Corona has scared the Australian team in a way.

Cricket returned again after Corona on 8 July 2020. But now the series is being played in the bio bubble. However, this is causing a lot of trouble to the players. Talking about Tests, during this period England has played the maximum number of 18 Tests. At the same time, Australia’s team has played only 4 Tests. That is, their players have had to live less in the bio bubble during this time. A total of 11 teams have played at least one Test match.

Team India is also not behind

During this, India and West Indies have played 13 Tests each. Apart from this, Pakistan played 11, Sri Lanka 8, New Zealand 7, South Africa 6, Bangladesh-Zimbabwe 5-5 while Afghanistan played 2 Tests. It is even more difficult to play Tests outside the home, because the team has to go to the host country and stay in quarantine for 7 to 10 days. Pakistan has played the maximum number of 9 Tests outside the home during this period. India played 8 and West Indies played 7 Tests on foreign soil.
