India vs Australia 3rd Test match will be played from March 1
Ashton Agar has been released from the Australian Test squad
David Warner and Josh Hazlewood are already out
New Delhi. There has been an uproar in the Australian (India vs Australia) camp over the defeat in the first 2 Test matches of the ongoing 4-match series against India. Bowling all-rounder Ashton Agar is ready to return to Australia without playing any match on the current Indian tour. He has been released from the Test squad. Agar will now take part in Australia’s domestic Sheffield Shield and Marsh Cup. Australia has not announced the replacement of any player in place of Agar. The third Test match of the series between India and Australia will be played in Indore from March 1.
Agar was not fed in the first two Test matches played on the tour of India. The Australian team expressed confidence in experienced off-spinners Nathan Lyon, Todd Murphy and Matthew Kuhneman. Michelle Swepson has returned home due to the birth of her first child. However, he is expected to join the team in the third Test match.
Before Ashton Egger, spinner Matthew Kuhneman was made Test debut by Australia in Delhi, who came to India later than Egger. The Australia team is upset due to the defeat in Nagpur and Delhi Test. He does not understand with which combination to land on the field. He fed a pacer in the Delhi Test match.
Warner and Hazlewood are injured
Before Ashton Egger, explosive openers David Warner and Josh Hazlewood have left for Australia due to injury. However, the good news for Australia is that all-rounder Cameron Green is expected to be fit before the third Test match. Talking about Agar, he will play for Western Australia in the Sheffield Shield tournament from March 2, while the Marsh Cup final will be held on March 8. Australia’s team will play a 3-match ODI series against India after the Test. Ashton Agar may return to India for the ODI series.
