The BCCI had announced the Indian cricket team for the Asian Games a day earlier. Rituraj Gaikwad, who went on West Indies tour, has been made the captain of Team India for the Asian Games. He has got the captaincy for the first time. In the Asian Games, men’s cricket matches will be played in T20 format from 28 September to 8 October. Meanwhile, the World Cup would also have started. For this reason, a team adorned with young players will be sent to the Asian Games.
