Australian pacer Mitchell Starc is contemplating a return to the Indian Premier League (IPL) despite a hectic schedule after being away for a long time. The hectic schedule includes touring the sub-continent and defending the T20 World Cup title later this year. Starc last played in IPL in 2015. The pacer said that he has not decided yet but his name will definitely be included in the auction of the league for which the nominations close on Friday.
Starc secured a contract of Rs 9.4 crore with Kolkata Knight Riders in 2018 but had to be released due to injury. The ‘mega auction’ for the upcoming season will be held in Bengaluru on February 12 and 13.
Starc told cricket.com.au, “I have two days to complete the document related work, so today it has to be done before training. “I haven’t taken my name out of this auction yet, but I have two more days to decide on it,” he said. Whatever the event, my name is sure to be included. ,
