KTM motorcycles in India are manufactured at Bajaj Auto’s Chakan plant near Pune in Maharashtra. This plant can manufacture 2 lakh KTM bikes per year.
There was a partnership between the two companies 15 years ago. Under this, the production started with the KTM 200 Duke about 10 years back. Since then the Bajaj Auto plant has become a production hub for KTM for 125-373 cc bikes. A large number of these bikes are sold in India and they are also exported to many countries.
