Mushfiqur Rahim scored a brilliant century in the second ODI for Bangladesh. Rahim completed his hundred in just 60 balls. This is also a record. Mushfiqur Rahim became the fastest batsman to score a century in ODIs from Bangladesh. He completed his century on the last ball of Bangladesh’s innings. Earlier, the record for the fastest century in ODIs from Bangladesh was in the name of Shakib Al Hasan. He completed a hundred in 63 balls against Zimbabwe in 2009.

Mushfiqur Rahim hit 14 fours and 2 sixes in his innings of 100 runs. That is, he hit 68 runs in 16 balls. Rahim came out to bat in the 34th over in the second ODI against Ireland. At that time Bangladesh’s score was 193 runs at the loss of 4 wickets. Rahim rained fours and sixes as soon as he came and completed his 50 runs in just 33 balls.
