The T20 World Cup has started with a bang and the qualifying matches being played for the Super 12 have seen a tough competition between the teams. But, all the cricket fans are waiting for 24 October because on this date India and Pakistan will take on the field against each other. Team India performed strongly in the warm-up matches and has given a warning to the neighboring country, beating the team like England and Australia in a one-sided manner. Even though everyone’s eyes are on Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli for India in this great match, but Pakistan’s batting coach Matthew Hayden believes that the biggest threat to his team is from KL Rahul.
Speaking at the press conference, the former Australia batsman said, ‘I have seen KL Rahul emerging and he is going to be a big threat to Pakistan. I have seen him grow up as a boy. I have seen his struggle and his dominance in the shorter formats. I have seen a player like Rishabh Pant, who has an amazing attitude towards the game, the way he flaunts the bowling attack because he has got the opportunity and he looks at it that way. Rahul is currently in the best form of his career and in both the warm-up matches, his bat was fiercely spoken. Rahul played a stormy innings of 51 runs in 24 balls against England, while he also scored 39 runs against Australia.
Teams of India and Pakistan have taken the field against each other five times in the T20 World Cup so far and India has won all five times. That is, till today, the neighboring country has not been able to win against Team India in the World Cup of quick cricket. Considering KL Rahul’s recent form, he can play an important role in the match to be held on October 24.
