This Netflix show is currently one of the top trends in social media and the players of India also followed the trend of this show. The video of this ‘Dalgona Candy Challenge’ taken by Indian cricketers has been shared by the International Cricket Council (ICC) from its official social media account. Participants in an episode of the show would have to carve a small figure drawn in candy without breaking it. Players who do not do so are killed.
Indian players have now made up their mind to complete this ‘Dalgona Candy Challenge’ of ‘Squid Game’. Sharing this video of Indian players, ICC wrote on social media, “Indian team in this dangerous game.” The ICC further wrote, “The stars of the Indian cricket team are tested with the famous game of one of the most talked about shows in the world.”
From Team India, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Suryakumar Yadav, Varun Chakraborty, Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah took up this challenge. Varun, Rahul, Suryakumar and Bumrah fail the challenge as they break their candy while trying to carve the shapes. On the other hand, Rohit Sharma and Mohammed Shami succeed in this challenge, as they patiently manage to cut the shapes out of the candy with precision.
