Stokes has become the player to hit the most sixes in Test format. He has broken the record of former New Zealand batsman and current head coach of England Test team, Brendon McCullum.

Before this match, Ben Stokes had hit 107 sixes in Test cricket and he needed just one six to break Brendon McCullum’s record. The left-handed batsman scored 19 runs in the first innings against New Zealand. During this, not a single six came out of his bat. Ben Stokes scored 31 runs in 33 balls in England’s second innings on Saturday. He hit 2 sixes in his innings. Stokes hit the first six on the leg side off Scott Kuggeleijn and broke Brendon McCullum’s record to become the batsman with the most sixes.
