Rohit Sharma suggests best of three finals
New Delhi. Aaron Finch, former captain of Australian limited overs team, has a different opinion from Rohit Sharma. Team India captain Rohit Sharma has advised to play the World Test Championship final through the best of three format. Finch has called this suggestion of Rohit a waste of time. Australia captured this trophy for the first time by defeating India by 209 runs in the WTC Final. On the other hand, Team India has faced defeat in the final for the second time in a row. Finch has also told how the record partnership between Travis Head and Steve Smith in the final affected the result of the match.
Aaron Finch told ‘Sen Radio’, ‘Becoming the World Test Champion is a big achievement. I think the partnership between Travis Head and Steve Smith proved to be decisive. That’s how Steve Smith plays. While playing in England, he scores a century whenever he wants. It is a great performance and I am very happy for the team.

Means best of three finals.
‘It is a waste of time’
On Rohit’s demand for best of three files, Aaron Finch said, ‘I have no problem with the current format. Even if three Tests are played, it will be a waste of time. We play to win or lose and I have no issue with this format. ‘The next final of WTC will be played in the year 2025.
