Kapil Dev predicted
India will capture 2-1

New Delhi. The Border Gavaskar Trophy, played between India and Australia, is starting from February 9. Before the start of the prestigious tournament, former captain of the Indian team Kapil Dev has shared his views regarding the playing XI of the blue team. Not only this, he has also predicted that the Indian team is going to capture the prestigious series 2-1.

The Indian veteran said during a special conversation with ABP Uncut, if you want to keep Shubman Gill in the playing XI, then make him start the innings. Apart from this, while talking about KL Rahul, he said, if Rahul does not fit into the strategy of the team, then do not include him forcefully.

Sharing his view, Kapil Dev said that players who return after injury should first participate in domestic cricket instead of joining the team directly. Talking about Suryakumar Yadav, he said, he is a promising and big player. He has done well in T20. But if you include him in the team according to your choice then it is wrong. According to me, he should play as many matches as possible for Ranji Trophy and India A first. Because Test cricket is a different format.

Talking further, he said, Pant is going to be missed a lot in the upcoming series. At the same time, on the question of the inclusion of four spinners in the team, he termed it absolutely wrong. He said that there should be only two spinners in the team. If there is more help from the pitch then three spinners can be included. But according to me, we should go with two spinners only.

He said, Mohammed Siraj and Mohammed Shami must be part of the playing eleven. Dev is very impressed with Siraj’s excellent bowling. He said that he has the ability to take wickets. Siraj and Shami should be part of the playing XI.
