Brahmastra’s bumper weekend boosts PVR, Inox’s market value by over Rs 650 crore

Shares of PVR and Inox had taken a big hit last Friday after Brahmastra received a poor response from film critics, eroding their market capitalization by over Rs 800 crore. Taurani said, “Despite the mixed reviews of the film, this figure is surprising. There are two reasons for this. The audience has liked the VFX in this film and the higher ticket prices have also increased the collection.” With the increase in the number of viewers watching this film, it can be included in the successful films of this year.

The release of this film was postponed several times due to various reasons. There was also a demand to boycott it before its release. Because of this, apprehensions were being expressed about the success of the film. It could also be a setback if film critics didn’t like it much. However, the people associated with Bollywood have got some relief from the higher than expected collection of Brahmastra.
