Bus driver and conductor who saved Pant’s life will be honoured, CM Dhami announced

new Delhi. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Sunday said that his government will honor the driver and conductor of the Haryana Roadways bus for rescuing cricketer Rishabh Pant during a road accident near Roorkee.

Speaking at the inauguration of a hostel here, Dhami said that the driver and operator of Haryana Roadways have set an example for others by risking their lives to save the cricketer’s life. He said that the state government will honor him on January 26.

Pant lost control of his Mercedes car on Friday morning while going to Roorkee from Delhi, which crashed into the divider. He is undergoing treatment at Max Dehradun.

Bus driver Sushil Kumar and conductor Paramjit, who were near the accident site at the time of the accident, took Pant out of the car and informed the police.
