Test series to be played between India and Australia
The team for the first two matches of the 4-match Test series has been selected.
New Delhi. The Indian cricket team has to play against Australia in the Test series after the series being played against New Zealand. This series to be held at home is very important in terms of the World Test Championship. Team India is fully prepared for the preparation of the Border Gavaskar series and initiative is being taken to keep the star players fresh by giving them rest. Cheteshwar Pujara and Jaydev Unadkat can play an important role in this series and only they will be watched.
India will have a good chance to make it to the World Test Championship final. The team is ready to compete in the Border Gavaskar Trophy with a strong team like Australia at home. The selectors have picked a strong team for the 4-match Test series and star players are being rested for the Ranji Trophy matches.
Pujara and Unadkat out of the team
Cheteshwar Pujara and Jaydev Unadkat, playing in the Ranji Trophy, did not appear in the match against Tamil Nadu in preparation for the Test series against Australia. Both these players were kept out of the playing XI of the Saurashtra team. Fast bowler Unadkat captains the Saurashtra Ranji team while Pujara handles the middle order batting order. Ravindra Jadeja was given the responsibility of captaining the Saurashtra team.
