Commonwealth Games 2022: India’s star boxer Amit Panghal assured the country at least a bronze medal with a win over Scotland’s Lennon Mulligan in the men’s flyweight quarterfinals. In this entire match, Amit dominated his opponent boxer and Amit threw fierce punches at him. It seemed as if Amit was playing this bout against a boxer with very little experience.
On the basis of Amit’s brilliant performance, another medal is sure for the country. After winning 10 medals in weightlifting, Indian boxers have now started showing wonders in the Commonwealth. Amit defeated Lennon Mulligan of Scotland 5-0 in the 48 kg weight category. This match seemed completely one-sided. Amit technically also seemed to dominate his opponent boxer.
