David Warner shared a cryptic message on his instagram story after he is not seen in dugout of Sunrisers Hyderabad game against CSK in IPL 2021 – Latest Cricket News

David Warner is going through his bad phase in batting these days. Due to the bat being silent in IPL 2021, he had to lose the captaincy of Sunrisers Hyderabad and now Warner is not getting any place in the playing XI as well. Warner is not being included in the dugout of the same Hyderabad team, which Warner led for five years and also made the team champion in 2016. Warner has expressed his pain by writing a secret message on his Instagram story regarding his unhappiness in the team.

Actually, David Warner was not included in the team in the match played against Chennai Super Kings. The extent was reached when Warner was not seen even in the dugout of the team. Warner stayed in the hotel room during the match and watched the match on TV from there. Sharing his Instagram story, Warner wrote, ‘It doesn’t matter who is real on your face, it matters who is real behind your back.’ Along with this, Warner also shared a short video, in which he is seen cheering the Hyderabad team on TV. Hyderabad suffered a 6-wicket defeat against CSK and with this the team was also out of the race for the playoffs. Fans were also very sad seeing this condition of Warner and they tweeted in support of this champion player.

David Warner has scored 195 runs in his 8 matches played in IPL 2021 at a strike rate of just 107.73. During this, only two half-centuries have been seen with his bat. Hyderabad head coach Trevor Bayliss had indicated that Warner may not feature in the playing XI for the remaining matches and the team wants to give chances to the young players. He said, ‘We will not be able to make it to the final now, so we have decided that we will field more and more young cricketers. Young cricketers will get more and more opportunities to be in the set-up, not just on the ground. That’s why the decision was taken and David Warner was not the only experienced player who was left in the hotel. We have a lot of young players who haven’t come on the ground yet, not even as a reserve. We wanted to give them a chance, this can be seen in the coming matches as well.
