Dinesh Karthik is making trouble for Rishabh Pant due to IPL 2022 average and strike rate

In the Indian Premier League i.e. IPL 2022, the bat of Royal Challengers Bangalore wicketkeeper batsman Dinesh Karthik is burning fiercely. In the 6 matches played so far, he has been dismissed only once and has scored around 200 runs. He is playing match-winning innings one after the other for RCB. Due to this the problems of wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant are increasing.

Actually, Team India has to play tournaments like Asia Cup and T20 World Cup after IPL 2022 and if Rishabh Pant is not able to return the rhythm before these tournaments, then Dinesh Karthik can return to Team India. Although, it is too early to say for now, but so far in the 15th season of IPL, Dinesh Karthik is on the floor while Rishabh Pant is on the floor.

In 6 innings of IPL 2022, Dinesh Karthik scored 197 runs in 6 innings at an average of 197 for RCB while batting lower order. His strikerate is 210, while his bat has hit 18 fours and 14 sixes. At the same time, Delhi Capitals captain and wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant has been able to score 144 runs in 5 innings at an average of 36 and his strikerate is 147. He has hit 15 fours and 6 sixes so far.

After the semi-final match of the World Cup 2019, Dinesh Karthik has not got a place in Team India, while wicketkeeper MS Dhoni has also retired. In such a situation, Rishabh Pant is the first choice wicket-keeper batsman, but Dinesh Karthik must have slept Rishabh Pant with the performance of IPL 2022 so far. If Pant doesn’t play big innings soon then there will definitely be pressure on him.
