Now again the girls here have left to play in the Khelo India Women’s Road Cycling League match to be held in Patna under the supervision of the Cycling Federation of India.

13 players have been selected

13 players of East Champaran District Cycling Association are involved in the match. The players in the team are Baby, Jyoti, Gudiya, Shweta, Sibi, Mukta, Binita, Appy, Anjali, Priyanshu, Srishti-one, Srishti-two, Siya. Before leaving for Patna, all the players were encouraged by Dr. Atul Kumar, President of the District Cycling Union. Union Secretary Siddharth Verma said that the competition would be held in three categories, sub-junior, junior and senior.

Daughters working hard to win gold

Eighth grade student Srishti Kumari, who won the silver medal in the state game and the gold medal in the district, told that she was in the top ten in Khelo India. Demanding a professional cycle from the Bihar government, he said that his father’s financial condition is not such that he can buy an expensive professional racing cycle. On the other hand, Anjali Kumari, who won the silver medal in the state, told that she is a student of class 12th. She was practicing two to three hours daily for the Khelo India game to be held in Patna.

Baby had won gold last month

Baby Kumari, who was the gold medalist of the Khelo India Games held in Jharkhand last month, told that she is a student of B-Com first year. Taking out time from studies, she practices in the morning. This time a lot of preparation has also been done for the Khelo India game to be held in Patna.

Gold is also expected to be brought from here. It may be known that Motihari’s baby got a cash prize of 10-10 thousand for securing first place in two different events in the competition organized in Jharkhand.
