New Delhi. Eoin Morgan, who was the captain of England’s World Cup winning team, will be seen playing in the second season of Legends League Cricket (LLC) after recently saying goodbye to international cricket. Former India openers Virender Sehwag, Pathan brothers Yusuf and Irfan, Australia’s Brett Lee and Sri Lanka’s Muttiah Muralitharan will also be seen playing in this league. Four teams and 110 international players will participate in this league to be held in September.
Morgan, who was the captain of the team during England’s title win in World Cup 2019, said in the release, “I feel wonderful and very excited to be a part of LegendsLeague. I am looking forward to playing in the second season.
In the first season of the tournament, former cricketers from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Australia and England were divided between three teams from India, Asia and the rest of the world.
