New Delhi. Former India captain and coach Anil Kumble has made a big comment about the team selected for the ICC World Test Championship (WTC). Anil Kumble says that the selectors made a big mistake by not picking veteran wicketkeeper-batsman Wriddhiman Saha. Talking about Wriddhiman Saha’s performance in IPL 2023, Kumble said that the selectors often do not pay attention to the performance of the experienced wicketkeeper-batsman. Wriddhiman Saha is seen in full color in IPL 2023. He has scored 273 runs in 11 matches so far this season playing for Gujarat Titans.

Anil Kumble said on Geo Cinema, “Look at Wriddhiman Saha. He has been brilliant not only behind the stumps but also in front of the stumps throughout this IPL. He has consistently performed well. He often goes unnoticed, but he is one of the best wicketkeepers in India. I think the selectors made a mistake by not picking him for the WTC final.”

Anil Kumble further said, “Wriddhiman Saha should have been a part of the Indian cricket team. I know KS Bharat is part of the team and he has done well when given the opportunity. But Wriddhiman Saha is brilliant behind the stumps and whenever he got a chance, he did exceptionally well with his batting in front of the stumps.
