Ferrari launches its first 4-door, 4-seater car Purosangue, will be launched in India too

Ferrari has finally taken the wraps off the Purosangue SUV. This is the first car of the company, which comes with 4 doors and 4 seats. Ferrari says that the company has used a sportscar-like front-mid engine position and rear-mounted gearbox (for 49:51 weight distribution) to differentiate this SUV from other high-performance SUVs. It has a 65-degree, 6.5-liter V12 petrol engine, which is capable of generating maximum power of 725hp and peak torque of 716Nm.

Talking about the price of Ferrari Purosangue SUV, this car has been launched in Europe for $ 400,000 (about Rs 3.2 crore). Deliveries of the car will begin in Europe in the second quarter of 2023. At the same time, this car will be launched in India sometime at the end of next year. Ferrari has also claimed that the demand for the car is very high even before the launch, which is a clear indication that the car is going to go through heavy orders, which of course indicates a long wait time.

The design of this car is slightly different from the common SUV. Its height has been kept low. Visually, it looks like a sports car from Ferrari, whose height has been increased slightly. Its bonnet is long and the rear is short. The wheel arch gets cladding for a muscular look. Sharp cuts have been given on the doors for aerodynamics as well as looks.

The Purosangue gets a new 65-degree, 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 petrol engine, which generates 725hp power at 7,750rpm and 716Nm torque at 6,250rpm. This direct injection V12 is tuned to deliver 80 percent of its peak torque from 2,100rpm. It gets a 2-speed front power transmission unit and an 8-speed rear-set dual-clutch transmission. Talking about the power of the Purosangue, the car can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 3.3 seconds, while 0-200 kmph can be achieved in 10.6 seconds. Its top speed is 310 kmph. It is the heaviest Ferrari car ever, weighing 2,033 kg.
