Former PAK captain Salman Butt reacts on Jasprit Bumrah best all format bowler says Shaheen afridi is no less

Jasprit Bumrah took 6 wickets for 19 runs in the first ODI against England played at The Oval in his career best performance. After his brilliant performance, the veterans called Bumrah the best bowler in all formats. Former England captain Nasser Hussain had commented on this for the first time on air and after that many legends including Sachin Tendulkar praised Bumrah.

Former Pakistan captain Salman Butt said that Bumrah is arguably the best bowler in all formats. But he pointed to another bowler who he feels is not far behind Bumrah. Butt heaped praise on Pakistan’s left-arm pacer Shaheen Afridi and believes he is one of the best fast bowlers in the world. The former Pakistan opener further said that even though Shaheen has a long way to go, the impact he has made from his experience is rare.

Ashish Nehra’s befitting reply to critics – Virat Kohli will get chances, cannot be dropped straight away

Butt said on his YouTube channel, “Look, Shaheen hasn’t played much cricket, but he is in the list of the best. He is no less than him (Bumrah). In fact with experience Shaheen will only get better and will have more speed and a different angle. It was a great experience to see both of them bowling. The way he bowls with the new ball, it seems that the wicket can fall at any time. You can’t get such a feeling and looking at a bowler.
