But, experts and cricket fans constantly compare these two. Recently former Pakistan pacer Naved ul Hasan compared these two cricketers and placed Babar above Virat.
While talking on the Nadir Ali podcast, Naved Rana gave his opinion about these two. Naved Rana said that Babar is ‘technically stronger’ than Kohli, citing the former Indian captain’s poor phase before his comeback last year.

Naved Rana said, “Whenever we compare Babar Azam or Virat Kohli, I always say that Babar is technically stronger than them, and that is the reason why he gets very few failures. Kohli recently struggled for a year and a half and when such players fail it lasts for a long time.
The former Pakistan fast bowler said that Virat has more shots than Babar, but despite having limited shots, he makes the most of whatever Babar has.

Naved Rana said, “Babar is technically strong, but Kohli has more shots than him. However, Babar makes good use of his limited shots. The reason why Kohli has more shots than Babar is that pitches in India are great for batting, he plays in IPL where he has to face world class bowlers.
Former Pakistani pacer Naved Rana further said that it would be easy for him to get Kohli out of these two. He said, “If I was in my old rhythm, I could easily get Kohli out between these two. I had a good outswing, so I would have caught him at slip or near the wicketkeeper.
