Salman Butt targets PCB
New Delhi: Pakistan’s team has faced defeat in the Test series against England. After the defeat against the English team, former Pakistan captain Salman Butt has targeted the Pakistan Cricket Board. He has strongly criticized the Pakistan Cricket Board for not considering the old players.
Talking on his YouTube channel, Butt said, ‘They have started discouraging players who are 30 and above. He has shown such an attitude that a player will leave on his own. He will save his honor and will be on the side. I had already started feeling this from his words. That’s why I took this decision after the first year itself. I scored 900 runs in nine matches.
He further disclosed the conversation between himself and Kamran Akmal and said, ‘I told Kamran Akmal too that you too should stop. They didn’t know. But still what happened to him was very bad. A player like him did not deserve this. They do not have the art of communication. All the talent of Pakistan is in front of him. He is still not able to choose a good playing XI.
Please tell that former Pakistan captain Salman Butt was one of the best players of Pakistan. His road to return to international cricket ended in 2010 after being involved in a match-fixing scandal with Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir. After that he continued to play only for domestic cricket. Finally, he announced his retirement in 2020. Pakistan’s team will start the third Test from 17 December.
