The company announced on Thursday that it has received the first three necessary approvals from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Under the service, Joby Aviation will operate its five-seater aircraft to transport people from one place to another. The aircraft has 6 propellers and looks like an amazing helicopter. The company has named this aircraft as eVTOL. It is a five seater aircraft which can cover around 250 kms in a single charge. According to the company, its flying speed has been told up to 321 km / h.

Joby Aviation is an aerospace company based in California, USA and is almost ready to make the first flight of its air taxi. The company has obtained the first three necessary approvals for commercial air taxi service. However, the company says that there are still many regulatory approvals that the company has to achieve. Getting FAA certification means that the company can operate as an aircraft carrier. The company can now start flight testing and develop further tech operations. This includes things like pilot coordinating systems and consumer app development.

The company calls itself the Uber of the Air. That is, like Uber provides taxi service on the roads, it will be the leading company providing air taxi service. Technically, the company still does not have the right to transport people from one place to another by air. For this, the company will need FAA type certification.

Even after getting FAA type certification, the company will need a production certification. Without production certification, the company cannot manufacture its air taxi. After getting the certification, the company will be able to do commercial production of its aircraft. The company has named this aircraft as eVTOL.
