Gautam Gambhir looks forward to one change in India XI for 3rd T20I vs New Zealand – Latest Cricket News

India beat New Zealand by seven wickets at the JSCA International Stadium in Ranchi on Friday to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match T20I series. The third and final T20 match between the two teams is to be played at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata today. In this match, India can give a chance to those players, who have not yet got a chance to play in the playing XI. Meanwhile, former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir has sought to make only one change in the playing XI. Gambhir also told which bowler would suit the Kolkata wicket.

Gambhir talked about feeding Avesh Khan, resting veteran bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who played in the first two T20s at the Star Sports event. Avesh was the second highest wicket-taker in IPL 2021. He took 24 wickets in 16 matches. Gambhir said, “From the bowling point of view, Avesh Khan can be included in the team by resting Bhuvneshwar Kumar, especially the Kolkata wicket will suit him a lot as there is pace and bounce here. So I would definitely like to see Avesh Khan play. He has the pace and you will definitely want to try him at the international level. You have already won the series, so now is the right time to give them a chance.

Shane Warne told his choice about Australia’s new Test captain, know who did Steve Smith and Pat Cummins support?

India has so far handed over debut caps to two players in the three-match T20 series with New Zealand. Venkatesh Iyer got a chance to debut in the first match and Harshal Patel in the second. Iyer, who replaced Hardik Pandya, did not get a chance to bowl but he scored 16 runs in two matches. On the other hand, Harshal was made the man of the match on the basis of his brilliant performance in Ranchi. He took 2 wickets for 25 runs.
