Glenn Maxwell credits IPL teammates Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers for success

Australia’s explosive batsman Glenn Maxwell has credited his success to his Indian Premier League (IPL) teammates Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers and said he benefitted immensely from spending time with the duo while playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). met. Maxwell said that spending time, playing and practicing with Kohli and de Villiers made him feel as if he had grown in stature.

According to cricket.com.au, Maxwell said, “Each day was a new learning experience. Every day I was getting to learn something new. I would try to learn something by watching Virat and AB (de Villiers) every day. One thing I will always be grateful for is IPL, where I get to learn from the best players in the world. I was lucky to have two legends of the game on the same team and they were always ready to talk about their experience and the game.

Maxwell said, ‘When you get their support, they watch you play or ask you questions, then you grow in stature. It builds confidence, it gives happiness. The atmosphere there was very comfortable.” Maxwell had a great run in the IPL and his form will matter a lot in Australia’s T20 World Cup campaign. If I maintain my IPL form, I know I will definitely get success. I am in good form and therefore in good shape mentally. I am not thinking too much about the game.
