Good news for Pakistan, the player who took hat-trick in T20 got permission to bowl again

Karachi. Pakistan’s young fast bowler Mohammad Hasnain’s bowling action has been cleared by the International Cricket Council (ICC), paving the way for him to bowl again in international cricket. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said on Thursday that Hasnain’s bowling action has been found to be valid and in a re-examination, his elbows have been found to be bent within 15 degrees under ICC’s valid bowling rules. Hasnain bowled under the supervision of a biomechanics expert in Lahore. During this it was found that his elbow was bent within the prescribed limit of 15 degrees. Earlier, his elbow was bent from 17 to 24 degrees, which has now come down to 12 degrees.

“Hasnain can now resume bowling in all forms of cricket, including domestic cricket at the world level,” the PCB said. Hasnain’s bowling action was reported in February. When he was playing in the Big Bash League in Australia. After this, he failed in the test regarding bowling action under the supervision of ICC.

Mistake was found in Hasnain’s action
The PCB also tested the bowler separately after receiving a detailed report of Hasnain’s bowling action from Cricket Australia. It was reported in the Cricket Australia report that while throwing good length, full length, slow bouncer and bouncer deliveries, Hasnain’s elbow bends more than the prescribed limit of 15 degrees. But, the Pakistan Cricket Board said that after Hasnain’s bowling action improvement work was completed at the National High-Performance Centre, he underwent a retest at the ICC-accredited Biomechanics Lab in Lahore on May 21. Whose report has been sent to ICC and Cricket Australia.

Bowling approved after 5000 balls
According to the report of cricket website ESPN Cricinfo, Hasnain has bowled 5000 balls since the ban on bowling and he continued to practice ‘shadow bowling’ i.e. bowling without a ball. So that necessary improvement can be done in their action.

Hasnain has taken a hat-trick in T20
Before bowling was banned, Hasnain was an important part of the Pakistan team in white ball cricket. He also took a hat-trick in T20. He also left his mark in BBL. He was joined by Sydney Thunder as a replacement for England fast bowler Shakib Mahmood. He took 3 for 20 against Adelaide Strikers on his BBL debut.

Hasnain had to withdraw from the PSL
This test report has been reviewed by an independent expert from Cricket Australia and has found that Hasnain’s elbow is bending as much as the prescribed limit while throwing the ball. Hasnain had to withdraw from the Pakistan Super League in January after playing a few matches due to a problem with the bowling action.
