West Indies tour has changed my batting: Gill
Gill appeared in a completely different style in IPL 2023. He was hitting more sixes than fours. He further talked about this change in his batting. Shubman Gill said, “It is not a well-planned decision, you want to be better. Trust in yourself is most important. When you come from a good international season, it helps. Success is a combination of many things. Last year’s West Indies tour changed my game. I was hurt in 2021. During this, I worked a lot on my batting. Also made some technical changes. When you go on the field, other things don’t matter. This is my best innings in IPL so far.
With this century, Shubman Gill now has 851 runs in IPL 2023. He scored these runs at an average of 60.79 and a strike rate of 156. He has scored 3 centuries in the last 4 matches and has gone ahead in the Orange Cap race.
