Gumla. A total of 7 players from Jharkhand have been selected for the Indian team for the SAIF Under-17 Girls Football Championship to be held in Dhaka, Bangladesh from March 18 to 29 under the aegis of All India Football Federation. In which three players of Residential Sports Training Center Indoor Stadium located at Gumla district headquarters are included.
Shivani Toppo plays from forward. Who is basically a resident of Chainpur. Soulina Dang is a midfielder player who plays the role of a big defender originally from Bano and Vikas, who is originally from Kolebira.

All the three players live in Residential Sports Training Center Indoor Stadium Gumla and along with sports, all the three players study in Sant Patrik High School. On the other hand, coach Bina Kerketta said, ‘It is a matter of pride for our district to have three players selected from Residential Sports Training Center Indoor Stadium Gumla. Our players work hard to make it to the national team. As a result of which 3 players from our training center have been selected for SAIF Under-17 Girls Football Champion.
Wave of happiness in Gumla
Along with this, an atmosphere of happiness is being seen in Sant Patrik High School after the selection of all the three girl students. Children studying with Shivani also want to make Gumla famous by playing like Shivani Toppo, Vikas Bada and Celina Dang.
Sports Officer Hemlata Boon told that the district is doing better for the children. He practices daily in the morning and evening. On the strength of their hard work, they are making their mark at the state and national level. The district administration is getting full cooperation.
