Hamare Medalveer: Father Colonel in Army, Grandfather Freedom Fighter and Shooter Son in Commonwealth Games

In the Commonwealth Games played in Manchester in 2002, Samaresh won 2 gold and 3 silver medals. After 4 years i.e. in 2006 Commonwealth Games held in Melbourne, Samaresh won five gold, one silver and one bronze medal. He was also selected as the best athlete, who is also the first player from India to receive this honor. (AFP)
