He has said that Kohli knows the importance of each and every run.
Bishop said during the commentary, “This is a player who is playing the 500th match of his career. He understands the importance of each and every run. His strength is visible on the field. I will try that I can explain to the women and men players of my country to score like this, don’t just wait for the boundary.
Please tell that Virat Kohli has become the 5th Indian player to score the most runs in Tests. Above him are players like Sunil Gavaskar, Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman and Sachin Tendulkar. Virat currently has 8676 runs in his account. To break Sachin Tendulkar’s record, Virat Kohli will have to score 7245 more runs.
Talking about the match, India scored 438 runs in the first innings on the basis of brilliant innings by Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja. The start of West Indies has also been excellent. He has scored 86 runs in 41 overs so far. Kirk McKenzie has scored 14 runs in 25 balls and Kraigg Brathwaite has scored 37 runs in 128 balls.
